Quite a weekend for entertainment for the last weekend in March!

The 3rd annual Frederick Film Fest begins Saturday morning and goes through Sunday evening.
The festival features local and international filmmakers, with  shows at the Weinberg Center for the Arts and the Cultural Arts Center across the street.

Thursday evening is a free event at the Weinberg with a happy hour and screening of two Heavy Metal documentaries, beginning 7 pm.

Friday, the Home at Braddock Inn(Braddock Heights) will help kick off the new Frederick Film Office at noon, which will promote Frederick as a great place to make movies.

I'm curious about the documentary on William S. Burroughs, who wrote "Naked Lunch". Do you know what a muggwump is?
Visit: www.FrederickFilmFest.com, or call 301-600-2828.

Nearby, (across the street in the basement of the Francis Scott Key building), the Maryland Ensemble Theater will have their first presentation of "Boeing, Boeing" , a bedroom farce.

Get in line early Friday before 7 pm to get your $5 tickets.
(Hint: Check out the incredible multi-media artwork above the entrance - you will have time.)
MET productions are usually very good to excellent - comedy to tear-jerking drama to horror farce.

They're back in Frederick - from Baltimore -  at the Cultural Art Center Friday.

Sounds like improv on canvas!
