On March 27th, the Salt Spring Zen Circle is offering a free half-day of silent meditation practice to help people learn how to start a calm awakening and allow an opening of their hearts into the mainstream of their daily lives. Led by Peter Levitt, a Zen practitioner for the past 40 years, and the founding teacher of the Zen Circle, the sitting retreat is from 8 to noon, at Ango Retreat (on Lepage Road).
