as for the smart phone... Droid X for sure!!!.. Of course, by the time you read this, there may be a Droid Y... LOL
I like to keep it simple. My phone is a phone. My computer is a computer. It works for me.
Hi Mary - that sounds like a fantastic idea, and something that I'd be interested in. Thanks
Sheila - I'll keep my eye open for the Droid Y, lol
Hi Janet - I was like that a few years back but I now need my phone to be as smart as can be!
Hard to believe it but we already have almost too many choices. By the time we learn one piece of equipment it is old news. Yikes but at the same time very exciting to see what will be next.
Randy - you said it: YIKES! Frightening and exciting at the same time.
Susan, Good post. I have always had some version of a Blackberry. I am on the verge of goin gover to the i-phone. Reading this post I'm not sure again.
Susan--I do try to stay up on things so that I do not fall too far behind. I LOVE my iPhone. My husband is in the mortgage business and he too loves his iPhone. All my kids have them and love them---twenty year old, two in college getting PhDs, son who is IT guy with masters in networking and his nurse wife, daughter who is radiographer. We love our iPhones for business and for pleasure!!!
Hi Susan - Thinking about all of these technology changes makes me tired! I have an I-Phone, which I love, but I know I don't use it to its full potential.
We are in the same boat as you Susan. Marc Swartz gave some valid points. So in 14 months this conversation won't matter, it will be outdated?? LOL!
Deborah - I'm the same; back and forth with all the different pros and cons of each
Pat - now there's a ringing endorsement for iphones!!! My brother also sings its praises. Thanks for adding to the Pro list :0)
Hi Rose - don't feel bad, I've just discovered a few tricks on my Blackberry Storm that I didn't know existed :0) I think there are many of us out there who use what we use and don't find the other apps necessary (until we finally discover them!)
Al and Peggy - if we hold off for 14 months we'll be so behind we'll be chasing our tails!
Susan, I used to have a partner and we parted ways not because we didn't get along but she wanted to stay doing things exactly the way she always did things. She hated technology and didn't want to change. Good post.
Hi Billi - how sad. We have to embrace technology and see it for all the good it can bring to our lives.
I love my IPAD and would definitely be lost without my smart phone!
Hi Debra - that was the direction I was headed.
I have the original Droid and need to upgrade. I also have a Netbook and I want a Tablet, but none are compatible with my MLS yet. I just bought my wife an iPad and am astonished that both it and my Netbook, in the span of 18 months, are old hat.
I dislike that a piece of technology that is several hundred dollars can be obsolete so fast.
I'd suggest the book "Future Shock."
