There is some good news for first time home-buyers in Citrus Heights, California. If you are ready to purchase a home but are having trouble with the down payment; the City of Citrus Heights may be able to help.
The City of Citrus Heights and Neighbor-Works are now funding low interest loans for up to $40,000; to assist with the down payment on a new home. If you are a first time home-buyer ( have not owned a home in the past three years) you may be eligible.
There are some eligibility requirements, such as; income restrictions, the home must be located in Citrus Heights, and the home must be owner occupied (not an income property).
