'WEEKEND IN PARIS' by Robyn Sisman
This is my first book review post. I LOVE to read! I don't have a favorite author, but I do have a few that I really like. I'm alway's open to suggestions, so if you've read a book that you just couldn't put down...PLEASE, let me know!!!
I buy alot of my books at estate sales and this book 'Weekend in Paris' was one of them. The story reminded me of 'Bridget Jones' Diary' in many ways. It's about a young British girl in search of the perfect career and some good-hearted adventure. As the title suggests, she ends up spending a weekend in Paris that will forever change the way she looks at relationships and the overall way she will live her life.
The story is light-hearted, fun and offers a touch of love & passion. It was an easy read...I finished it in just under 2 days. This one would make a good read, in my opinion, for a day at the beach/pool or an airplane trip. If I ever see another Robyn Sisman book at an estate sale, I will buy it! According to a few articles on the internet, Sisman has published about 10 books with her latest titled 'The Perfect Couple'. There's always time for a 'Fun Fluffy Read'...I consider it my favorite way to escape a bad day.
The next book I'm planning on reading is 'Water For Elephants' by Sara Gruen.
