I just visited Northern Virginia.

Hurrumph!

Northern Virginia is right next to Washington, DC. It is comprised of Loudoun County, Prince William's County, and Fairfax County. 

Nice rolling hills, the Potomac River, and the trees are about to turn as Fall's Foliage turns.

Washington, DC is the Capitol of the United States.

Not too far from Northern Virginia is Central Maryland. In fact, Central Maryland is just across the Cabin John Bridge that takes folks over the Potomac River! Included in the Central Maryland area are Montgomery County and Prince George's County, with Anne Arundle County, Fredrick County, Howard County, and Baltimore County being close by! 

Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, Ohio, and New York are within 5 hours driving time!

So the Fall Foliage Show is about to happen! And not too far behind that comes Old Man Winter!

I had to catch my plane at Dulles International Airport which was scheduled to fly at 7:15 am.

I woke up and went outside to start the car... It was 56 Degrees outside!

Brrrr! And it was just a week from the switch from Daylight Savings Time! Yes, the DREADED Day Light Savings Time switch!

My bones hurt in the cold. And soon we will be in the cold of winter!

If you are ready, willing, and able,,, and are looking forward to, Blistex, Long Johns, Ear Muffs, Rubbers or Boots, Multi-Layered Clothing (and then needing to go to the bathroom before you leave the house just after putting on all the defensive clothing), and Scarfs and Gloves, and De-Icers and Snow Shoveling, and Black Ice, Blizzards, Complainng about the Counties Snow Removal, etc, then read no more!!

If you want to escape from the cold and have Pina Coladas, or Cuba Libres, or Rum Runners, or Margaritas, or Any Other Frozen Drink with Umbrellas to keep the rain from watering down the mix,,,
