And you thought YOU had bad weather??!!

It's March 25th and you think we would have some let-up of the snow and poor weather...But no, an unexpected (not forecast) storm 2 days ago and now this...up to 25 more cms of snow, ice pellets, freezing rain...you name it. But the worst part is the wind, up to 100km/hr which whips the snow around and makes it impossible to see beyond your nose.

Anyway kids are excited...another snow day! No schools open, university closed down, etc. Ironic that my daughter was supposed to leave today for a school trip to Marble Mountian for skiing, but it was cancelled because of the snow. And my son is not impressed too much...he has to do all the shovelling and snowblowing. Oh well, can't get any worse...can only get better! Bring on spring! (in reality..not in name only!!)

Good Lord! Thats a lot of white powdery stuff. :( I think the grass is always greener on the other side... I wish it would snow down here in Florida. I can feel the other Floridians shunning me already!

Wow, winter for sure. Here on the south shore of Nova Scotia Spring has arrived. No more signs of winter. Daffodil shoots are 4 or 5 inches out of the ground.

Thanks all for commenting! Well, it's 8 hrs later and it's still 'stormin'. Should be over by morning...so the forecasters say...but who knows..our forecast is the least accurate in the world I'm sure!!

No daffidils here for at least a couple of months unfortunately.
