Real Estate Lifestyle Search - Add Some Life to Your Search
Everybody knows you can search for homes on the internet. As a matter of fact, I believe the National Association of REALTOR's reported that 94% of all home buyers start their home search online. So, what exactly is that home buyer finding when searching for their home online???
For starters, they are either ending up on a national or major portal site like REALTOR.COM and TRULIA and ZILLOW or they are ending up on a real estate agents site or a real estate brokers site. Once there, they should be able search for homes in a easy manner. In reality, many real estate websites make it difficult for the consumer to even search for homes on their sites. This all starts with the "Search for Homes" button or option. Many times it is hidden or in some bizarre place.
Once they do find the option to Search for Homes, they are faced with some decisions. How many bedrooms, what city, how big of a home, how about the year built. Most home searched actually start with just 3 basic criteria - Price, Size and Location. From there the consumer looks for features, such as number of stories, is there a pool, how big is the lot, etc...
And that is where it ends for most home buyers. Well not anymore. Technology and the flow of information is changing once again. Enter the Real Estate Lifestyle Search. What exactly is this??? It is a home search that provides exactly the same functions as mentioned above, and adds a whole new level of search criteria. We will refer to these criteria as Lifestyle criteria. Consumers are now able to add Lifestyle criteria such as distance from a certain elementary school, from a Starbucks, from a golf course, etc. There are actually 104 additional layers of data added to our Real Estate Lifestyle Search.
As a matter of fact, I have put together a few introduction videos to show you some of what the Lifestyle Search can do.
