7 Comments on NCAA Women's Basketball Championships: The Round of Sweet 16, Day 2
Come on Uconn, make us proud all the way up here in NH.
Good morning, Ed....Connecticut has always had the best basketball teams, both men and women...
Good morning, Ed. I see you changed your profile pic. Although, I am not a UT fan, I will have to root for the home team. Pat is an awesome coach and her players respond well to her coaching. BTW, did you know that she is the winningest college basketball coach?
Ed........I just hope Tn and UConn meet next weekend,,,,,,,,,
Hope you have a great day!---Rob----GO VOLS!!!!!!!!
Scott, if they win it all this year, it will really have to be one of their better efforts.
Barbara, they are definitely the bench mark programs in the North East
Michael, Pat Summit does have a great list of accomplishments, and she and Geno certainly don't exchange Christmas Cards
Rob, they are definitely headed in that direction, but Tenn has to get by Notre Dame and UConn needs to beat Georgetown. If they do get together, it will be an interesting game as the star player for UConn, Maya Moore, is the reason that Pat no longer wants to play UConn in the regular season. Pat didn't like losing her to UConn and went so far as to suggest recruiting violations were in order, but the NCAA didn't see it that way and she has had to stifle her comments.
Ed.....Today is the big day. If UT gets by ND then it's on! I think it will be a great game if Tennessee can just get by ND tonight. Have a good one!---Rob
Rob, you're right, and if UConn plays as poorly as they did against Georgetown, it will be a very long night. ND is not a push over team.
