5 Comments on Historical Development of Fee Simple Ownership
Hi Brian,
This by far the best historic summary of the origins of the fee simple ownership concept, very well done, thanks for sharing
Good morning Brian, this is a very concise description of the concept of "fee simple", it was a pleasure to read and very understandable. I think this is my favourite part of real estate (other than earning a commission cheque), I love history and how it relates to the present day.
Brian - but in the end the crown has the right to take it from you ..... what many don't realize is they also have certain rights when the Crown does want your land.
Peter and Linda,
Thanks very much
Malcolm
It is quite interesting
Kathy,
If you have an average property, expropriation is a great way to sell, you usually get 125 to 150% of the value.
Brian, I love reading about history like this. I thought it was the Doomsday book, the Domesday book seems much more "optimistic" ;-)
