Yes, today is a very special day. And I almost didn't realize it until too late.
For one thing it's Robert Frost's Birthday - and is the birthday of thousands of other people still living. But that's not the only reason.
I just learned that today is Make Up Your Own Holiday Day.
So, what can it be? If I'd realized it this morning, I could have declared it to be "No cooking or cleaning day," but it's too late. I've already done those things. It could also be "Not working on Income Tax day," but since that's what I've been doing all afternoon, that won't work.
Whatever it is, it should be something to carry forward to next year. Maybe "Call an old friend day" or "Write a thankfulness list day." Not that we shouldn't be doing those things more than once a year.
Hmmm... I'm going to have to think about this.
Meanwhile, here are some days to look forward to in the coming week:
Tomorrow (Sunday) is National Joe Day. Everyone who hates their own name gets to be called Joe for the day. It's also Photography Day. (I need to take part in that one!)
Monday is Respect Your Cat Day and Children's Picture Book Day, among other things. So, curl up with a cat and a kid, and look at picture books.
The 29th could be an important day for you to honor some of your family, friends, and clients. It's "National Mom and Pop Business Owner's day" AND "Vietnam Veterans Day."
You could send those folks a note reminding them that it's "their day" and thanking them for their contribution to the country.
The whole month of March really is special. It's National Optimism Month!
Before I had to switch autoresponders and lost the ability to create cool newsletters with sidebars, I was adding these tidbits to my weekly real estate marketing ezine. I enjoy them almost as much as I enjoy finding good quotes to add to my letters.
