Voting time is almost here.  I"m sure that Patsy and her kronies will win because so many people sit on the sidelines and don't care while she runs amok with our trust.  Kristin LeBlanc is the natural choice, but  she needs to be voted in as a write in candidate.  A few things stick out to me about Patsy.

  1. I remember her telling the world that life will continue with the Saint Charles addresses.  It's ridiculous.  Nothing out here is Saint Charles.  Every customer service number you call has us as Campton Hell.....er, Campton Hills.  One more promise, one more lie.  There is no value in a Campton Hills address.  Saint Charles, yes!  Campton...no.
  2. I go to her hearing with Kristin LeBlanc and see her testify that to the tune that she can't remember anything of value in the hearing.  Most normal people would know the questions that she was asked during testimony, but she just looked out to the audience (or to someone in her posse) and smiled like she just stole something and got away with it.  My interpretation?  Sure, but the testimony is clear on it's face.  She only remembered things that were convenient to her side of the story.
  3. She talks in the March 2011 newsletter that the census shows her new domain, ie, Campton, is down 11%.   Specifically, she says.....;

"This number represents a 17% decrease from our previous population, which included those who disconnected from the Village, vacant homes due to foreclosure and those who, like me, have college age or older children who left home and were not replaced by new babies."

Say what?  Hey, it sounds to me like I haven't done enough for Patsy with my kids.  I think I'll call my wife home and ask her if she wants to get funky so that Patsy has some more bodies for her census.  I remember counseling in cliinical psychology.  I had women on welfare who believed that one more baby meant more aid from the State of Illinois.  No matter how much I spoke to them on the additional costs, they just knew, more kids = more income.  I thought 5 kids was enough, but I'll see if I we can pump out a few more for Patsy's census numbers.  Remember, more babies = more income for Patsy (YIKES).

At least she was OK in recognizing the disconnects.  I really wish her area was disconnected....or at least as disconnected as she is from leadership.  We have Bladgojevich, Quinn, and now Patsy, as three democratic leaders who really appear, in my opinion, very incompetent to lead.  In her comments, she blames Pat Quinn for signing a flawed bill (see http://www.villageofcamptonhills.org/Resources/Newsletters/2011%20March%20Newsletter.pdf).  It's too bad that Quinn doesn't have Patsy on her staff as an advisor.

Anyway, while I rant, I reminisce about the good old days.  I can't tell you much about Kristin, except that she's taking a stance, even if limited to a write in.  I don't think that Kristin has much of a chance as a write in.  I really want this village to pack up it's bags and disappear, but like every grasp of power, once you have it, it's hard to go back.

Tell your friends to vote Kristin LeBlanc.  Any vote for her is a vote against Patsy.  Really that's all that matters!

HOA or HO?  I wish it were just an HOA issue.  It's some wannabe who came in an incorporated an area that was living a peaceful rural life.  Now it's all about big government and control.  We have a village (which I and many don't want) and no we have a village without any leadership.  We have power figures, but no leadership.  Sigh!

I wish you people would get your act together so we could work on some real problems ;-)

Want a good story about CH? A few weeks ago I stopped by a vacant listing in the early evening just to check on it. The door was ajar and since the house has woods on 1 side and a vacant property on the other, I didn't want to go in by myself. I called St C police and was told to call the sheriff who told me to call CH...I'm still not sure where the boundaries are. In any case, not 1 but 2 CH police cars came out and checked the entire house and property. They were very nice and didn't make me feel stupid for calling.

Hmm, now that I think of it you were only a mile away -- you could have sent your boys over to storm the place with their bb guns!.

Well you make up for me since I have no children. Never wanted any, yet I still pay my share of all the expenses that come with having children in our community – school taxes, cleaning up graffiti, etc. It’s just part of being in a civilized community; we all have to share the burden. Sometimes we don't like it, but it is what it is.
