Prepare Your Winter Vacation Home Well Prior to Your Summer Absence!

By
Real Estate Agent with CENTURY 21 Bill Nye Realty, Inc.
Front Best Soon many of you will be returning to your summer residences up north. A couple of years ago I saw a very interesting article that listed hints for closing up your home at the end of the winter season. I contacted the author of the work, and he graciously gave me permission to pass it on to my friends and customers here in Zephyrhills, Florida.

If you would like to easily download and print up these hints in Adobe PDF format, click on the following link:

Note: if instead of seeing the list you just see a gray screen, click on the REFRESH button and the PDF document will open. This only happens if you are using Adobe 10 or Adobe X versions. Just a quirk in the newest version of Adobe. For most of you the list will appear with no problem.

If you also have some hints, click on the REPLY button or leave a COMMENT and let us know what your ideas are.

John, luckily, these folks won't be returning to their homes up north to find burst pipes and raccoons living in the attic to stay warm!  And I love your prices down there.

John, as a guy on the other side of the snowbird pattern, I can tell you that is an excellent list. Great job. I have to echo that notifying neighbors is crucial.

Yes, neighbors can be very efficient watchdogs, especially in the 55+ parks here. They see everything. :)
