Paia now has plenty of parking places since the repaving has been completed in the lot behind Charley's Restaurant. This has become a pay lot, charging $2/hour, which explains why it remains half empty most of the time. A new free parking lot has also opened up just below the Post Office, and it can hold about 100 cars, which makes a lot of us happy. Paia has become so popular with locals and tourists that it's important to provide many options to park and stay a while.
