pay it forward,Helping another less fortunate, at gas pump

Wow,Just had another reality check while buying gasoline for my truck.While i was filling my tank, I noticed that the man in the next pump was having trouble paying with his credit card.The long story short was that his only income is his monthly disability check wouldn't come for three days and he must be out of cash.This man served our country in Vietnam ,so i offered him my credit card and put 40.00 dollars in his car.He has a small car so i am sure he will have enough gas for the rest of the week.He thanked me and said that he would repay me when he cashed his check.I answered,if you can,great but I know that his financial situation will not get better with whats going on in the world.The bottom line is that we have to stay positive and Pay it Forward when we can.Thanks for your time.and happy selling.
