Another Speechless Sunday...

This is my second generation family. Hubby and I have two grown daughters (30 & 27) along with two grandchildren, Emma is 3 and Micah is 7 months. We were empty nesters for four years.

In November of 2008 our great niece Daesha (8) and great nephew Seth (6) came to live with us. They will be 11 and 9 in June. They've pleaded with us to get a dog from the beginning. Hubby and I have been there and done that and really just didn't want to do it again.

This past week was spring break. So, on Monday armed with notebooks and pens, the kids and I visited several shelters. We made our selection on Wednesday and brought Stella home with us. It was a great decision. Stella is just wonderful! She loves all of us and we love her too!

Joni, Brenda and Cindy...everyone, including Hubby is loving Stella. The kids are taking on much of the responsibility with her, feeding, walking, watering, brushing and playing. I know this is all real new to them and it may wear off, but we do love her!
