The Lazy Little Farm is located in the Bethlehem Community of Bonifay Florida where we raise the finest quality Katahadin Sheep. Our new spring crop have all been born and will be ready to sell after they are weaned.
The Katahdin are an easy sheep to raise. They do not have wool, instead they have hair and will shed just like dogs, horses and cattle do. Making them very low maintenance where you do not have to shear them.
Raised for their mild good tasting meat and also very good at browsing on weeds, grass and other foliage. They come from Maine where they were bred and raised to graze along the highways. The ewes are very good mothers and usually will have 2 to 3 lambs.
Captain Wayne Rowlett and his wife own and operate the Lazy Little Farm and invite you to stop in for a visit.
