Welcome to Ralph's Weekly Feature: Two Truths and a Lie: Guess Which One Is The Lie?

Judy Klem Each week, I'm going to feature one Active Rain Member, with their photo, and what they are going to do is tell you 2 Truths about them and 1 Lie.

The object of the game is to guess which of the 3 bits of trivia about them is a lie!

OK, Here goes:

I've visited Paris 7 times, once for a quick 2-day weekend.

I've written and had a mystery novel published.

I danced the twist on stage with Chubby Checker.

OK, gang. Tell me which one is the lie!

Remember, for those members who guess the most number of correct lies at the end of the month, you will be awarded 1,500 Bonus Points! If there is a tie, each member who ties will be awarded 1,000 Bonus Points!

Christine, it seems everyone thinks she has not published a book - and I think it's easy to publish the book now-a-days.

DeeDee is right - there are many Paris in the WORLD - so many visits are possible.

I'd go with #3 this time. This statement must be her desire!

Hmmm, when I guess always guess wrong!! Praful, I thought about how easy it is to publish a book these days and you could be right. And, DeeDee you are so smart; wasn't thinking about the other "Paris's" right here in our own backyard. And, maybe she didn't dance with Chubby Checker on stage. This was just one wild guess for #2!! :)

Hello All!! Somehow I was thinking I needed to post this today instead of yesterday - so thank you, everyone, for your patience!

# 1 - I've visited Paris 7 times, once for a quick 2-day weekend. - is TRUE!

After visiting Paris, France the very first time for my 40th birthday, I was in love! I talked so much about it with my friend Vivian that we planned another trip the following year. I've been there twice with Viv and 5 times by myself.

The weekend visit happened when I was working for an international bank, and I had to be in London for 2 consecutive weeks. Plans to get together with friends fell through, and I suddenly thought - hey! I'm about an hour away from my favorite city on earth. I flew out on Friday night so I could wake up 2 mornings in a row in Paris - my version of paradise here on earth.

# 2 - I've written and had a mystery novel published. - is FALSE!

This is a heartfelt wish of mine, but to date has not happened. Notes and drafted pages, yes; completed/published novel - not quite yet! I'll be sure to let everyone know when the happy day occurs.

# 3 - I danced the twist on stage with Chubby Checker. - is TRUE!

While working at that same international bank I mentioned above, they had incredible, blow-out holiday parties at the Copacabana in New York City. There was lavish food, wonderful dance music, and somewhere around the middle of the evening, a musical act. One year, the act featured Chubby Checker. After singing for a while and getting the whole room up on its feet, he invited people to come up on stage, one at a time, to dance with him.

One guy I knew could do the twist, with all those moves where you're basically crouching all the way down to the floor. I knew my knees wouldn't stand that, and then I had another idea. I went up and did the twist in a kind of slow and sexy way, and Chubby didn't let me down. He gave me a great smile and leaned into me and just made it fabulous fun. I got a huge cheer from the crowd as I made my way off stage, glowing from my 15 minutes - uh, seconds - in the spotlight.

Thanks, everyone, for all your great guesses and research into my profile and blog. It has been so much fun to read what you've written.

Can't wait to see who's next!
