Okay, so I think we've established that I'm a nerd with few extra interests....
Given that, I upgraded my Blackberry this weekend to version 4.2.1.107 and it works so much better! My text messages didn't reliably come through and I had a bunch of dropped calls. It does take a while and you may want to make sure you have the latest version of the Desktop first.
Check to see which version you have by clicking on the "wrench" from the menu page then "about". Version is the "v" # on line 3. If it says anything other than 4.2.1.107, you need this download.
