This is post #1000 for me here on Active Rain!  I started on here a little over 3 years ago which means I have posted a blog about 5-6 times a week.  

What comes to mind for me is FIRST it takes a lot of work to write 1000 blogs.  The truth is that not all my post over the years have been that good, but they still took time and that time is work.  

NEXT what comes to mind is that blogging is FUN. If it was not FUN or if I was not addicted to it then I would not do it!  I have taken a couple breaks from blogging and Active Rain during this run, but they were fairly short lived and I just can't break the addiction now.

ANOTHER thing that keeps me going is the calls or emails that I get from Active Rain of potential buyers and sellers that are looking to move.  In fact this past summer when I was not blogging much I had a couple calls with in a couple days time that reminded me that potential customers do find your post on here.  After that I got back on here and have been going strong ever sense!

The LEARNING experience is great. Meaning reading and interacting with other bloggers helps energize my day!  That's why I like to get on here and get going in the morning on most days!

...I would like to have some brillant celebration graphic or picture to put up here, but when my computer crashed I lost all my pictures so now I need some time rebuilding my graphics and photo files! For now I just am thankful I stuck with it long enough to get to 1000 posts and I am sure there are many more to come!

I love to blog also, but sure hadn't done it 1,000 times.  Haven't gotten any calls from potential clients on AR either..so good for you!! I guess I need to get busy.

Congratulations on your 1000th post! I have been here at AR just about two months as my first ever blog was posted on February 5th and today's post was #23. When I started I thought I would post only once in awhile. Then it became one a week. Naturally, it increased to twice a week (one members and one public) when I became a rainmaker. Now it's up to three times a week...actually 4 last week. Blogging is addictive and lots of work...um, I mean lots of fun! Hope I see some Google juice pretty soon! :)
