In my market it is very rare to have the listing agent present at showings. But the few times this happened the showings were over very quickly.
Go Phillies!!
Doug - Yes it is fine sometimes. But other times what if the listing agent cannot make it and you have to schedule around their schedule ? Or what if you are on a tight schedule with your buyer and you are waiting for the other agent to show up just to put a key in the door when there simply could have been a lockbox ? These 30 minute delays add up as time is money. Or even worse a showing lost if the agent could not make it to meet you there. The appointment time should be on the buyers schedule, not on the listing agent's schedule. And with ease of access for properties, there are no worries. Nor stress. Nor aggravation.
Christopher and Stephanie:
Access is very important. it makes a different in the amount of showing you get.
