Wow, it's been a busy couple of weeks but I wanted to share with you our final project we completed as the Dallas Chapter of IAHSP (DIRC) the week of September 17th, 2007.
It all began at the beginning of the year with our planning. In July we hosted a Summer Fiesta Fund-raiser to raise money for the projects we were working on. We set the goal high for ourselves this year.
This project was a continuation of our annual IAHSP World Wide Staging Service Week 2007 September 9th - 16th. For some back ground you may refer to my original post.
I would really just like to post here a photo diary of what the Dallas Chapter did for our Habitat for Humanity "adopted family".

With the help of our wonderful business partners and vendors and a dedicated team from the DIRC we were able to provide a family of 5 with a house worthy of their dreams.
We painted and prepped and provided all the furniture and accessories needed for this wonderful family to come home to. It was an emotional day for all involved and such a life changing experience. I can't wait to do it again!

It is my hope that our project and the services and donations we made to others has a lasting impact on our community.
Our motto this year was Think Globally, Act Locally.
We don't have to pick one week a year to live this motto. We can do it in our daily lives in small ways.
Each person you come in contact with is another chance daily for you to make the difference in their lives.
You may just smile at a sales clerk who's having a bad day, or let a car on the highway enter your lane without hesitation, when someone messes up, rather than get upset, take a breath and think about how they feel. One person can change the lives of many. Try it and you'll see.
Pay it and Stage it Forward my friends. You can change your world....
Wow!!
That is a full service staging.,
Good job
