What a coincidence, I am thinking about buying a kayak  for the lake.  It is so much fun and so peaceful.  Great post!

That looks like a lot of fun and I love the interview!  I am sure you see some beautiful wildlife along the water you wouldn't normally see. 

Jack & Cyndee - I love your title! Thanks for the information. My son built two beautiful wooden kayaks last year in wood shop in school. They are not very friendly to transport but they certainly are beautiful and see worthy! Good video! Your other pix do not show up!

This is TERRIFIC!!  I remember you telling me how you were DRESSED FOR A WEDDING, pulled off on the side of the road and made time to interview this guy! 

Great pictures!!  Great interview!  I love the idea of being able to see the wildlife with a kayak.  It's not the same as "swimming with it!"

North Carolina has a lot of kayaking and canoeing too.  We went whitewater rafting this summer and it was a blast.  My husband bought a kayak a few weeks back and has been enjoying his new toy too much!  Great interview with another local expert - I like how you are incorporating video into your local blog pieces. 

Cyndee - I all sound like so much fun.  I also love your video and the interview with someone who was an authority on the subject matter.

I've heard alot of good things about outdoor fun in Clearwater, FL! Might have to comeover there to do some kayaking! Rose Bay near Port Orange in my neck of the woods is a good spot for kayaking too!

Hi Cyndee, I guess if you go in the drink there it is warm anyway.  I am always afraid of tippy boats because our water is so cold!  I guess kayays aren't as tippy as canoes and lessons always help.  Great video. 

Cyndee-Looks like so much fun. Of course after researching and writing my post on Alligators I am too afraid to go in our lakes and river anymore. Of course, Broker Bryant swims with the gators. I love how you inteview people and get these great photos of Clearwater Florida. Katerina
