Did You Ever Find Money In The Pocket Of Old Jeans? $5, $10, $20, $100, or maybe a $1,000? If you have then you know that warm and fuzzy felling!

I had just such a feeling last Friday evening! No I didn’t find money in my pocket, even better!

I was waiting for Brenda and for some thing to do I was purging allot of no longer used numbers from my phone. Most were Las Vegas business that I’d transferred in from an older phone, many I hadn’t used in years. Many I had to check on line because I’d saved, but not labeled.

Then there was a number that I just couldn’t delete. I looked at the number, I’d called it frequently over the last four years, alas it hadn’t been answered in almost two years. I reached for delete I just didn’t want to do it. There was no reason to keep it. I decided I’d delete it. Instead of delete I pressed call one more time.

I found a friend! I found my friend! I got that warm and fuzzy feeling!

There was a reasonthe phone went un-answered, we had a major time problem, he wasn’t available when I was. My friend must have the only remaining phone on the west coast with out an answering machine.

My friend and I have never met face to face, only over the Internet and phone. E-Friends are different than conventual friends in that you seldom also know their family and associates well enough to know how to contact them independently. That doesn’t mean they are not real friends, just that circumstances can get them lost.

I found a friend! I felt good. Just like a kid finding change in the couch or finding that money long since forgotten!

Speaking of E-Friends. When I picked up the snail-mail today I got another one of Mike Jones photo cards! Have you seen these? What a great way to make friends and clients feel good! What a great way to promote a property. I love getting them.

Did You Ever Find Money In The Pocket Of Old Jeans? $5, $10, $20, $100, or maybe a $1,000 or a friend worth much, much more?

Do you collect your friends alternate contact information? We should!

Bill, getting contacted in alternate ways with e friends however they do, is a treasure, and then to meet someone face to face some day is icing on the cake.

I have found the LinkedIn network is fabulous for keeping in contact and contacting old friends and clients.

Nick,

I'm on Linkedin, but I never log in. I use to get so much junk from them, it was just to much so I stopped posting.

Bill, I found 4 bucks this morning, washed and all! But yes, that was a great thing to find for sure. Friends are treasures, aren't they? And losing one, then finding it, that is a great thing indeed!

Andrea,

I think so!

So many of my friends are at an age when one can assume the worst to refined one is so good.

I have much better luck finding money in my kids' pockets when I do the laundry. Looking forward to checking out Mike Jones' photo cards.

Bill, great re-union story.

When I came to US, I wanted to meet my friend and classmate (who had moved almost a decade before I did!) and I searched for Yellow Pages etc etc - and did find him.

And you bet, that's lot more than $5, $10..... from my jean's pocket (and...I don't wear jeans ..:-)).

Praful,

Then you know that warm fuzzy feeling.

I can only imagine how much more intense it must be in a strange land.

You're an American now, it's time for a pair of jeans!
