Guide to Voting in Union County (one of North Georgia's mountain counties situated between Fannin County and Towns County.
To register to vote in Union County:
- must be a U. S. citizen
- must be a legal resident in Union County
- must be at least 18 years of age by election day
- a convicted felon cannot vote
- if a voter moves into Union County within 30 days of an election, they must vote in their old precinct
To vote in the November election, a person must be registered to vote no later than October 9th 2007.
To vote in the Presidential Preference Primary and Special Election on February 5, 2008, a person must register by January 7, 2008
To vote in Union County's General Primary Election and Special Election on July 15, 2008, a person must register on or before June 6, 2008.
