The More You Try to Figure Facebook Out...

...the more you'll realize just how difficult it is to figure it out for yourself!

I've been speaking at events all over the country lately about real estate and social media, with a focus on Facebook. Most agents agree with 99% of what we teach because it is completely different than what any one else is teaching...and our advice is from real life experience.

When it comes time to decide how to ACT on the knowledge there are 3 distinct sets of agents in the room. Which one are you?

1. I know its not for me: There are some agents who know with 100% certainty that they don't have the skills, desire, or business model to use Facebook. That's fine. If you know that it's not right from you, don't waste your time with it. Usually this is about 5%-10% of agents in the room.

2. I know I need to be using it more effectively and I need the help: The number of agents in this category has steadily been growing. When I say, "for most agents, the more you try to figure it out on your own, the more confused you'll get", they are the ones nodding their head. Most importantly, they are the ones that take action on the new skills they've learned. This is 30%-40% of the agents in the room.

3. I'll figure it out on my own: Most agents, though they are not properly trained think they can figure it out on their own. I don't typically say this, but basically they are acting like a For Sale By Owner (and many agents spend hours a day trying to convince FSBO's to use an agent)! This is about 1/2 the agents in the room. They are the ones that take my card and say, "I'll call you if I need help" and months later I haven't heard from them and they haven't taken any action themselves.

If you're in the 30%, watch the video below and give us a call today.
