What a week it's been! Spring has definitely descended on the Northern Virginia real estate market. Buyers are out and
about looking for a place to call home. My cell phone has been ringing off the hook with Buyers who have called from real estate signs they saw in front of homes that they saw while driving through neighborhoods that seem to fit the bill. These Buyers want to get in to see properties as quickly as they can. You can hear the excitement in their voices. But when the news comes across that the home they are calling on is under contract, but you can help them find another one, the conversation comes to an abrupt halt.
"We don't want an agent. We were just wanting to see the home. We thought we might like to make an offer."
These would-be Buyers seem to wander aimlessly from under contract listing to under contract listing not understanding why they are always late to the party.
