Wow, Fall has arrived. Besides kids in costume, pumpkins, football, leaves turning colors, and temperatures dropping. What else has dropped, Tracy home prices. The National Association says this has been the worst year on record for home sale prices. So is that bad news? It depends. Are you looking to purchase a homein Tracy? Great news. Are you looking to buy an investment property and start building wealth? Great news. Are you a move up buyer who'd like a bigger house? You're going so sell for less than you did a year ago, but you are going to be able to buy for less, your property taxes will be less, so it's GREAT NEWS!
What about those of you who bought a home in Tracy or Mountain House, CA with in the last 24 - 36 months? You bought your home hoping home prices would continue to soar? Maybe you even have a "suicide" loan that the interest rate is changing, and you're hoping you can still hang on. I'll be honest, this isn't great news for you, and I'm sorry. You aren't the only one in this place. Do you know what to do? Do you know what your options are? Do you know that there are many people who can help? If you answered "NO" to these questions, call me. I have answers. Please know that you are NOT ALONE. It's not YOUR FAULT, You aren't a LOSER, or any of the other names you've been calling yourself, your spouse, anyone who you can blame. It just is what it is. However, if you get help EARLY before you are months behind in your house payments, or before you credit has all but blown up, you may be able to rebuild - recoup - and still take advantage of the "new housing market". So if could be good news for you too.
As I talk to people and all are gloom and doom about the housing market, especially where I live, here in Tracy,CA. I can't help but think, the 'Media' rarely paints anything rosy or good. There are bright sides to everything you just have to look for them
