Time is running out of an initiative that my daughter started with a simple question, "What can we do to help". We were having a discussion on Japan, and how life can change in an instant. One second they were having a normal day and the next their lives changed forever!! She discovered, at that time, that Tea was one of the most sought after items, we supposed it was due to "that feeling of home" that they so surely miss. So, almost 2 weeks ago, that next morning i thought hey, If i ask 204,844 people who are on Active Rain to help, then i can increase our odds of getting the word out. I promised in a comment on day 1, that i would post on this topic once a day (with or without points), I have been true to my word and can't think of anything that I'd rather blog on.

The outpouring of messages being forwarded, Blogged, re-blogged, posted to your Facebook pages, Tweeted and even rewriting the story to pass to your sphere of influence is humbling to say the least. I used an analogy when discussing this projest with a friend of mine this morning that i felt like a Coral Reef. What i mean by that is 
that i sit in an ocean of people floating by my peice of the reef. I look to attract you to my reef and then join my reef and become part of the mission of the reef, to Pay it Forward and grow my reef to the size of the ocean floor so we can all become part of one gigantic reef system capable of attracting the best the ocean has to offer. I invite all the members of Active Rain to swim over to the reef, I made room for you!!
THE ONGOING MESSAGE IS...I want to put out a challenge to all 204,844 members. As a way of "Paying it Forward" and showing to the world that when we all Sing in the Rain, we can make a difference. I want to collect 500,000 TEA BAGS and send it over to an organization in Japan that can send the comforts of home from America and all of US to them. Any teas collected will be sent April the 8th, my daughters birth-date, since it was her idea!
If your attending Rain Camp in Atlantic City in April, the Active Rain Gods have been so kind as to use the check in table as a drop spot for any tea you would like to contribute or if you don't want to travel with it or your not attending you can send it to my office at Home Buying Revolution, 1424 Easton Rd, Horsham, Pa 19044 UPS delivers here every day and already Tea is being delivered. The goal is to Get them by truck and ship them by Tanker, CAN WE COUNT ON YOU TO "Tea" IT UP????
We can be a small difference, 204,844 pass the word.
