Flagstaff Property Taxes. Since values have dipped down in Flagstaff, like other areas of the country some, you may be paying more in property taxes than you need to. If you feel like you might be in this situation, here is what you can do to try to lower your property taxes.

The first step is to call the Flagstaff County Assessor's office at 928-679-8188. You need to get an appeal form. You have 60 days from the day of the notice of value which was mailed in February, to file your appeal.  You need to submit sales of comparable homes to show what the values are in your area. If you don't know how to obtain that information, I would be happy to help you obtain those stats.

The County Assessors office will give you written notice of their decision of what your property value will be once they review your appeal.

If you are looking to purchase or sell a home in Flagstaff, I would be honored to help and be "Your First Step Into Your New Home."
