24 Comments on Momma, we all grew up to be cowboys....
Karen - I was tossing around ideas and cowboys seemed more appropriate than the world's oldest profession.
Brian - Thank you for getting past the reference to your other "hat". I think you may have discovered the ying of the cowboy yang. I am proud to have you on the trail with me.
Tricia - You are correct and we probably won't need interweb bread crumbs to accomplish the feat.
Gregory - I may have stumbled upon a theme. Stay tuned for more to come........
Cheryl - It is kind of like finding an old pair of comfortable shoes in the back of the closet. You are happy with the find and over joyed when they still fit.
Jason - That is high praise that I appreciate.
David - It is so nice to see an old friend stop by, read and comment. Thank you for your kind words.
So J-mac - this cowboy is wondering if we are going to meet around that Tampa campfire after Thanksgiving or whether you are runnin a lil bit scared now that we have a new sheriff in town named Garcia! :)
Apologies to everyone else for the private joke!
Patricia - Mommy and Daddy may have been appalled but they would be fortunate to have their little girl grow up to be just like her new found hero.
Donna - LOL . Thanks for reading and sharing that little snippet of life in your world.
What an original analogy and one I have never thought of. You nailed it for all of us. Now, if I can round up my horse, I'll ride out of here.
John,
Excellent post! Thought you could use a little 'spice'.
Thanks, Fran
Well, Dang It All, Cowboy John! I had just gotten Jeff Turner's Hello Dolly post and song out of my head because Jason Crouch posted on songs from his childhood. Then I commented to Jason about getting Hello Dolly out of my head, and guess what? It popped back in. Thanks to you, I have a new re-wind going on. I guess I'd better keep reading before I get sick of myself.
Oh yeah....good post, er whatever......
(loved the message....just kiddin' ya!)
Cheers! from Kensington...
Jaynee
Fran - I am a displaced person from the "Crescent City". I never turn down a little spice!
