Business Cards are an inexpensive way to promote yourself. You can print a lot of information on the card and when anyone asks for your telephone number it is easy just to hand out a card.

The business card can show your designations, email address, web site information, your specialities  and Office address and telephone number.

Here are  other ways you can distribute your cards.

1. Leave them at all your listings and hand out at open houses. Unrepresentated buyers hold on to cards and may call you when they are ready to buy a home.

2 Many grocery store and local banks have Bulletin boards where you can display your cards.

3.When you mail out real estate information to any one include your card. They may read the information you mailed but will hold on to your card.

4.You can send out calendars and sports schedules with your card attached. These will be displayed at their homes thoughout the season or all year.

5.You can  hand out cards to anyone with whom you discuss real estate .It could be while you are waiting for your turn at the store, bank  or some other place.

6. I always drop my business card for free drawings at restaurants etc.

It is not enough to give out business cards. You should do things to increase the probability of consumers holding on to the cards. Print something that they would like to refer to often on the back of the card.. You can print tip schedule, (great to leave these in restaurants), mortgage calculators (first time buyers love these) or some other useful information. You can also order small business card size calendars that they keep in their wallets .

When you read about events please check the year for the event as some people find information a year later and think it is for that year. . The posts remain online even after the event.

Melissa, I agree they should be easy on the eyes. Sometimes it is difficult to find the contact information on some cards.

Hi Cheryl, I won an Arby's combo meal; the month's drawing. It was a value of around $6. I have my cards in a clear box attached to a window of my vehicle. That way people can take them when my car is parked somewhere.

Called Shot Master

It's great to see all of the creative ways that pther REALTOR's are using their business cards. I post mine on bulletin boards, exchange them at events. It makes networking so much easier...
