Tonight I am cheering for the SAN DIEGO PADRES in their do-or-die one-game tie-breaker with the ROCKIES.

I wonder how many L A Dodger fans will be joining me?  <s>

And I was enjoying a somewhat rare chanced to watch the Patriots on TV tonight (rare if you're in Calif). They were on Monday night football playing the Bengals (and did very well, winning 34-13, playing at the Bengals' stadium). Hope you enjoyed your game!!

Mary:  If you count play-offs and SuperBowl games over the last few years, it seems to me, I've seen lots of Patriot games.  <s>   But I would like to see the Bengals do better -- Carson Palmer is a USC alumni!!
