Raincamp Atlantic City NJ starts on Monday. I'm excited. The knowledge I gained from Raincamp Philly helped me generate more leads online, better market my listings and increase my profile on local real estate searches. With a new format for Raincamp, focused on Reputation Architecture, I'm looking forward to taking even more away from this event - new format, new lessons and new skills to learn.
I've worked hard over the last few months to increase my visibility online. Beyond Google and Yahoo! searches, I've expanded my presence on Facebook, craigslist.org and LinkedIn. Next week Raincamp will help me learn more about Reputation Architecture so that I can make better decisions about my online market, presence and visibility.
As a Rainmaker, I've opted to go to the Blogging & Coaching event on the second day. Two days of training? Two days (plus travel from the Connecticut Shoreline to Atlantic City NJ and back) is a big time investment for an agent at the start of a hot Spring market. I'm committing the time right now because I know that the skills I learn at Raincamp will help my business grow over the next few months. The lessons learned in Raincamp can be applied to my business today.
I've been working with Sam Redlich, an Online Business Strategist, to help build my personal brand on the Interweb. Sam will also be attending Raincamp Atlantic City, so be sure to pick his brain about online presence, blogging with Wordpress and the importance of using videos for business marketing.
Coming from out of town?
For those attending, Irene Kennedy is putting together a dinner on Sunday night at the Tropicana. And for those coming from out of town and staying overnight, the nice folks at ActiveRain were able to get a discount rate for Caesars Atlantic City. I'm taking the train into Atlantic City from New Haven CT. I'm sure I'll see other real estate agents, mortgage brokers and professionals traveling to the event.
