Today The Preston Fonville Morisey Realty Office had a luncheon and vendor fair for us. There were a few select vendors there to share potential closing gifts. I found them to be very interesting and worthy of sharing.
First was Red Light Chocolates. They brought an assortment of chocolates to sample in beautiful red and black elegant gift boxes. I sampled the chocolate salted caramel and it was Divine! Straight from the Triangle in Fuquay-Varina, Red Light Chocolate is sure to please even the most finicky palate.

The next vendor was featured on Oprah's Favorite Things, in People Magazine, Southern Living and was even Commissioned by the White House. That would be Seton McGlennon with her Original Art Gifts. From Cary, NC, Seton will paint a variety of items with your buyers new home. Don't stop there, she paints many other items for your personal gift giving. I had her paint an ornament for my mother-in-law years ago with all the grandchildren on it.

If you like pen and ink sketches, You'll Love Your Door & More. Brenda Priest from Holly Springs, NC creates beautiful art pieces for your client. She has even created a "Realtor pack" which includes note cards & personalized labels. This is a gift that your client will cherish forever.
Scentsy Candles was represented by a local independent consultant. Unfortunately, I didn't get her contact information but, I did get a great shot of her products. Scentsy appears to have a large variety of very nice scented candles and home products.
How about a gift to Light up your Clients Home? Elliott Jewell of Block Head Graphics designs Decorative Custom Lighted Blocks, Banners & Signs. They even create lettering for your car. Elliott is an impressive young entrepreneur from Cary, NC. He has some nice examples online. I especially like the lighted blocks with the local High School name. Wouldn't that make a great gift for a family relocating to the area?

Last but not least, What do you Get the Newcomer to the Area? How about the Food Lover? Triangle Food Tour has the perfect idea for you - a Guided, walking, food-tasting tour. Triangle Food Tours offers tours in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, & Chapel Hill. If you're not from the area, check out your local town to see if they offer something similar. If not, maybe there's a business there for someone.
I'd like to give a "Shout Out" to Cafe Caturra at Stone Creek Village for bringing gourmet food samples to the office today.
So, check out these sites. Many of these vendors do ship. I hope you found some great ideas here as did I!
