Free April Activities in the Berkeley Area

April is looking really beautiful in the Berkeley Area.  The blossoms are thick on the trees, probably due to the ample rains.  Alas, the weeds are also thick in the garden and the grass in the yard is almost knee high.  As I write this, I hear our neighbor mowing and clipping away around his property.  I wonder if he'll do mine!

We're fortunate in the East Bay to have green pick ups, so our weeds and grass clippings (that we can't use for compost, of course) get hauled away twice a month.
I know I'd better carve out some time to do some yard work.  Let's see, I'm on floor at Coldwell Banker on Saturday, so Sunday will be free.

But WAIT:  Before I plan to weed and mow, I'd better make sure I won't miss some great free Berkeley Area event.  Soooooo:
