A wonderful idea

My niece Dena came up with a wonderful idea about how she could honor her mother, my beloved sister Carol on her birthday:  My sister passed away on November 26, 2010 after a battle with ovarian cancer.  Carol had dealt with a lot of pain and illness during her life.  When Carol's birthday came, my neice came up with a wonderful idea.  Dena suggested to her dad that she prepare a nice meal and take it to the hospice house where Carol spent her last days on earth.  So on Carol's birthday the family celebrated Carol's life by helping the staff at the hospice house as well as family members who were with their loved ones in the Hospice House!

Thank you Dena for coming up with such a wonderful idea to celebrate the life of our beloved Carol Strickland Lane!

What a wonderful way to remember her mother and those at Hospice who gave of themselves caringly for her mother. That is a perfect way to share her love, respect and thankfulness toward them and for her mother.
