Marketing listings is becoming ever more challenging! (Yes, of course, the listings have to be priced right!!) Thinking outside the box is increasingly becoming the norm and sharing success stories and marketing strategies will help the real estate market (and us, the real estate professionals) in the long run. Yesterday, various real estate professionals came together in an "Open House Extravaganza". I started working on this project about 4 weeks ago, gathering as many participating brokerages as possible. We posted flyers in the neighborhood inviting residents to join us and bring family, friends, collegues, etc. We also advertised the "Extravaganza" in the local paper and offered a prize for participating. I am happy to say, this was the best Open House for all the participating agents. Approximately, 10 - 12 groups of potential buyers visited and completed a registration card. So, you ask, was it worth it? Yes, it was. Agents came together and worked together. Even if only home sells because of this effort, it was worth it and our sellers loved the idea as well.
