I learn a little about a lot being an agent...But I stay an agent at all times. I follow the inspectors around, the stagers educate me, I have learned about Title issues and escrow procedures, writing contracts, negotiating, plumbing issues..
I AM YOUR AGENT
But, at the end of the day, I am your Real Estate agent....I know some things about the law, plumbing leaks, electrical, roofing, driveways, landscaping, window coverings, fences, loans, credit reports, financing, signs and the list goes on.
YOU LEARN THINGS
When you have been in the business long enough, things not only come up, but get repeated and that is my education. I get to talk with the different trades and see things from their point of view. My gardener installs PVC and there is more to it than digging holes and laying pipe.
EVERYTHING SPEAKS
No two transactions are a like either so I am always looking forward to the whole experience. I had my first title insurance claim two years ago and learned so much about how that works. Now, I can help someone else too. Pretty soon, things go smoother for being the wiser
ITS AN ADVENTURE
I visited the tax assessors office, building departments, planning, county recorders, and courts of law, talked with notary's and learned what they will or wont accept before recording. I have seen boundary disputes where fencing straddled the property lines, septic tank leakages and replacements, and how cracks anywhere can tell you a story
NEW CONSTRUCTION
I learned quite a bit when I worked tract home sales. Getting to see homes built from scratch and watch the different trades come and go is a live class room educational bonanza and not to be missed.
YO-HO....A REAL ESTATE AGENTS LIFE FOR ME
I love this business and I learn a little about a lot and after 33 years, it just keeps on coming too!

I'm fairly new to the field and I feel like I learn something new all the time. Listening to people and observing is a fantastic way to learn and we can always learn more.
