I had a tenant in a home that had three smelly dogs AND they smoked! Talk about smelly! The place always smelled like wet dog and cigarettes. I burnt popcorn to cover up the stench.

The worst part is usually an occupant can't smell their own house because they are used to it!

I have a dog and a cat so I know that we probably have odors that we can no longer smell. But, we try and keep it at a minimum by bathing our dog regularly, using pet odor eliminator powder when we vacuum and by keeping the litter box in the unfinished basement. A good carpet cleaning is also in order once or twice a year!

Blech! You are not kidding on that one! And it's even worse when they use air freshener to try to cover it up.
