86 Comments on Cool Virtual Tool To Help Pick Paint Color
Excellent info and tool. Thank you for sharing with the Community!
Kathleen - Hope you find it helpful.
Pamela - You are vey welcome. I'm sure you will find it useful either personally or to share with clients.
Sandi - I think most people cannot visualize ( although they won't admit it ), so these tools are quite helpful and allows them to be more at ease with their decisions.
LaDawn - You are welcome, we're glad you find this post to be helpful.
Denny and Denise - I hope you are able to put it to use.
Heather - I wish we had this tool before we painted a major portion of the interior of our home. I don't love the color, but it's such a large space that I've learned to deal with it rather than re-paint.
Steve - So glad we can help, and I think that's great that you are sharing it with your partner. I hope they appreciate the value you bring to the relationship by sharing these types of tools to help their business.
Margaret - Good point, and your approach of sending the samples seems very smart.
Marte - Go bold and share pics.
Gwen - You can have some fun on this site.
Marshall - You are most welcome, thank you for reading and commenting.
Marie - Very well said, and I'm glad you both brought up that point. It is more complicated than just looking at a computer screen, but as you mentioned, it's a good starting point.
James - The community has been very good to us and we always love giving back any way we can.
I've heard about that befor Amy but never tried it out. Love the concept though and will bookmark so I can find the information easily! Thanks for sharing!
The only thing that I would be concerned about with using software to choose colors is that every piece of equipment you use, i.e your camera, computer or printer, processes colors in a different way. The colors you see on the screen, in your camera display, or on your printout may not be and are probably not the actual color you intend.
Great tools thanks! I will have to try to use them in my new construction business here in Boise, Idaho.
Hi Dan and Amy - This appears to be a great tool to help in the paint selection process.
Thanks for the great tool!
Great tips. I knew about and used the Benjamin Moore color visualizer feature before but since I am now working more with Sherwin Williams it is great to know they have an iPhone app.
Benjamin Moore offer a Personal Color Viewer too (http://www.benjaminmoore.com/personalcolorviewer). It can also be downloaded to a desktop.
this is really cool. thanks for sharing. Picking the right paint color can be daunting. A great use of the Internet Sherwin Williams!
DeeDee - Glad that you enjoyed learning about it and hope you are able to use it.
Henry - That' true. This is merely a tool to help guide people along the way.
Jim - I hope this helps your new business and best of luck to you.
Marc - Thank you for reading and commenting, we really appreciate it.
Brenda and Ron - You are very welcome.
Anja - Both are great companies and have some nice tools available. We are a tad biased toward Sherwin Williams because they are based here in Cleveland.
Chris - Thanks for sharing.
Elisa - It's nice to see companies using technology to help their clients and in turn, themselves.
This is a great bit of information worth a reblogg and a bookmark. Thanks for the post and great info.
Dan, Amy...that's a great tool - and I think I'd like to explore more about it...will check the links of your post. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like the perfect tool. I've bookmarked it. It also demonstrates how to really update the exposed ceiling beams that were stained dark brown many moons ago. Paint them the color of the ceiling and you have instant 21st century! Thank you for posting...Carolyn Huggins
What a neat idea. I'm going to have to pass this on to my clients. Thanks.
Great - thanks so much! Anything all of us can do to support an American-grown company is awesome!
