I received an email today from a former client who occasionally keeps me informed of her goings-on. The last paragraph of her email was so moving and complimentary that I asked if I could use it as a testimonial. This is going to end up on my website somewhere, but I wanted to share it. Yes, I'm sure I'm tooting my own horn but also I'm always so thrilled and grateful to hear that someone was able to continue applying the principles of what I taught for the long run.
She also addresses a key point, that some people have trouble dealing with, which is that progress is made step-by step, and sometimes the progress is slower than they anticipated. Unfortunately, Professional Organizers have to battle the preconceived notions that organizing projects will be as quick as the tv show makeovers.
In any event, if I ever had any doubts that my work affects people's lives positively, this kind of feedback wipes all of that away. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
"Putting the effort I did into working with you two years ago is literally helping me to make my dreams come true. I really just want to share that with you because it's that small progress with each session that did make my life more functional and whole. There has been work in other aspects of my life I have done-- but your contribution has been an undeniable one and I feel you should know that."
