Property Taxes are now due in Dona Ana County NM and dont forget to Protest your property Valuations for 2012.

Arent we excited to see our new 2013 Valuations?  The assessor in Las Cruces, Dona Ana County has sent out our 2013 Notice of Value and you now only have 30 days or less to appeal the valuation.  If you think your valuation is unfairly high, or low, you can fill out a protest form to have the Dona Ana County Assessor take a closer look at what they are charging you for property taxes.

Las Cruces real estateI recommend everyone that has Real Property in Las Cruces take a good close look at the notice of Value.  Do you believe your property value has gone down in the last year.  If other properties in your area have sold for less and less yours may be worth less as well.  It is no guarantee that this is true but it may be an indicator and if you can plead your case properly, you may just get the Dona Ana County Assessor to take another look at your property Value.  I can help walk you through the process as I am an expert at Dona Ana County property Taxes and the protest process.

 

 

Exit Realty Horizons2nd half tax payments for 2012 are due this month on the 10th so dont forget to get those in.  The time to have appealed the valuation for 2012 was last year this time.
