The warmer weather brings about all the ideas of the infamous *To Do List*!  Most think about planting flowers & veggies, but then there are those who have spent all winter realizing that they have more *stuff* than what they need or use! 

First thought is, I have to SPRING CLEAN this house, garage, and shed!  Well if it's still has life left in it, DONATE IT!!  There are many agencies that will gladly take furnishings, tools, gardening supplies, etc helping out families who in need of these items.  Many agencies will even come and pick up the items, just ask!

Yard Sale Option - Sure!  Fantastic way to make a few extra dollars, but when you have items leftover - Do Not Put Them Back Into The House!  Load It Up & DONATE! 

Final Step - GET A RECEIPT FOR DONATED ITEMS!!  Everyone can use help with tax write-offs, so take advantage of this and SPRING into gear and DONATE those gently used items!

Jason - Kudos To You!   I have a client who seems to be the friends/family storage location!  She has her own things to get rid of; but I told her to tell the friends/family to get their stuff out before her yardsale or else she will sell it and pocket the cash for storage fees!  :>)

But no matter how well your yardsale goes, there are always leftovers!  So My Battle Cry Is........

DONATE IT & GET A RECEIPT!
