Greenhaven at Dusk

Greenhaven is a newer neighborhood built around a neighborhood park, in eastern part of Colorado Springs - east of Powers Blvd and North of Dublin Blvd. The homes were built by John Laing Homes from 2004-2007. Half the neighborhood homes are "Cottage Series" homes with low maintenance yards and many with great balconies. The northern half of the neighborhood offers larger homes "Windchime Series" - some with great side and front patios with stone gas fireplaces.

Here is a look at the Greenhaven Real Estate housing Market from September 1-30, 2007:

Average List Price: $271,857
- Low Asking Price: $215,000
- High Asking Price: $315,900
Active Homes for Sale: 13
Pending Sales: 1
Sold Homes: 1
Average Sold Price: $240,000 (53 DOM)
Average Days on Market (DOM): 83 Days
- High DOM: 215 days
- Low DOM: 10 days

Hi Mariana,

I love Greenhaven and I really like what John Laing did in that subdivision. Any chance they are going to do a little more of that product in that area? It sure seems like there is enough vacant land close by!

Mariana, this is a good post for the consumers in Greenhaven. This is excellent information to share both for those looking to buy a home and those that are already homeowners in the area.

I really like the idea of a neighborhood park and the front and side patios -- makes it a lot easier to get to know your neighbors and build a genuine community feeling. Looks like the homes are quite affordable, too!

Joe- Greenhaven IS awesome. John Laing did have the land to the immediate West - "Greenhaven West", but they sold to another builder who has since sold it again. All we know is that it is zoned R1 and that there is a green space to the west between the existing homes and whatever gets built in the future.

John- Greenhaven is a HUGE step in making suburban life more community and less "Edward Scissorhands" - We have an AWESOME community.
