Charlotte NC Region-Market Update in South Charlotte for Ballantyne Country Club
Ballantyne Country Club with its rolling hills, lovely trees, beautiful homes, and great South Charlotte location is a neighborhood you must consider visiting. The Club offers its members a Rees Jones designed golf course, tennis, pool, a 24 hour fitness center, and dining in the Clubhouse. Even, a Teen Center and Childcare services are available. The Club amenities are located on the west side of Johnston Road/Hwy 521, but the neighborhood is on both the west and east side of Johnston Road.
There are all sorts of shopping nearby, movie theaters, restaurants, medical facilities, grocery stores, I-485, I-77, and I-85. The Interstates provide easy access to Uptown, Southpark, two different hospital systems (Carolinas Healthcare and Presbyterian Healthcare Systems), Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and many other attractions or necessities.
As we come into the spring real estate market there are typically more sales in this neighborhood and this price point. Certainly, the lower priced homes that bring value are what's selling. Ages range from new homes to 12 year old homes. There are even a couple of lots available, but the existing homes' prices are hard to beat in the current market.
