This was the first year "Life in Los Altos - Michele K" sponsored Snowday and it was a huge success. Instead of finding a small pile of snow dumped in the park this morning, I found a sled run, a snow covered dance floor, bouncers, tables set-up to accommodate the large crowd for eating free hot dogs, chip, Starbucks coffee, hot chocolate, and lime flavored snowcones.
We meet so many wonderful people enjoying the day in the snow with their children while we did our best to supply everyone with our delicious snowball cookies, lollipops and water. On a whim we took Herman, our pet walking stick with us this morning. Herman made for quite the conversation piece and the kids definitely won the race on being the first to find him while darling Brikston and his mom, Stephanie gave us a lesson in handling Herman.
I would like to say it was pleasure meeting and talking to everyone today and I can't wait for next year's event.
