14 Comments on It's the Lake in Lake Oswego Oregon answer to Where is it Wednesday...somewhere is Lake Oswego
Hi Cindy,
Great local approach, very nice and interesting post to answer the Photo Challenge, good for you and looking forward to next weeks story...
Cindy it was so obvious, I should've guessed! Hey...interesting video on the lake and the sewer line reconstruction. by the way.
Hi Cindy, I knew it was the Lake but did not want to spoil anything. The history of this lake is pretty amazing and to think the First Addition in Lake Oswego used to be the housing for all of those workers digging out that lake among other things. Wonder what they would think if they could see it now. Great photos by the way.
Hi Peter & Linda, thanks..I've been doing these for a while just as a localism thing. I have no clue if anyone checks em out, although I'm getting more clicks on them as I've progressed. I have lots of fun doing them each week!
Hi David..what? you didn't know it was Lake Oswego??? LOL. I thought the video was pretty cool as well!
Hi Mary, Those folks that lived in First Edition building the lake would probably be amazed at how desirable those homes are today! The lake does look so odd without the water, but soon enough it will all be back to normal.
Hey Cindy,
Sorry I missed your Featured post. Busy...
I like your photos and the fact that you lable tme with your sig.
Have a great day!
Kevin
Cindy, I would've said it was a pond, abandoned by everyone and close to drying out forever. What a transformation when the space is filled with water - it turns into a beautiful lake. Great photos and video. Have a great weekend.
Hi Kevin, being busy is a really good thing! I used picnik to put my name in the pics.
Hi Elizabeth, It's amazing the technologie today to put in these sewer lines and draining this huge lake to do so. I hope to be enjoying this lake in a few months.
Hi Cindy ~ Great photos! I drove by the lake the other day and noticed all the work activity. It does look really strange without much water, though! You're lucky to have a friend with a boat there -- hopefully you'll be out on the water again soon.
Hi Maureen, As I was taking these photos, I was wondering about all the things they must have found when it was drained. It does look so odd with no water, but will be filled soon enough. Oh...I hope I get out there on the lake again as well!
Cindy, I just subscribed to your blog thanks to Richard Yates including your your video in his series. I need to do one like that...good job!
Also, after reading some of your blog posts, I must congratulate you on being such a good blogger. You're doing a great job showcasing your area as well as writing helpful information for consumers. I am a new fan of your work.
Hi Steve and Jan, What a wonderful compliment to get! Thank you for those really kind words and soo very appreciated! That was really nice of Richard to include one of my videos..and that one in his post today was edited down to that 2 minute mark because of Richards help and comments. It is hard to see yourself on camera, but I got over it! It's me after all. Thanks for subcribing to my blog! I hope you continue to enjoy them!! Whooeeee....I will walk out the door with a big grin on my face thanks to you and Richard!
