30 Days of Marketing Opportunities - Day 3

My goal is to write 5 days per week for 30 days. (I almost missed today!) So I've started this series that I hope to motivate me to write. 30 Days of Marketing Opportunities will give you 30 projects or tasks that your Virtual Assistant can handle on your behalf, generating leads that will ultimately generate more income for you!
 These are tasks that do not require a lot of high-end skill but, instead, require some time (hence the reason your Virtual Assistant should handle these tasks, not you!) and attention to detail.  Join me on the journey!

Day 3 - Create a Marketing Campaign for Past Clients

We all know that "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush," right?  Well, who is your bird in the hand?  Your past clients, of course!  Past clients have already bought the cow - they believe in you and your services and are the perfect place to start looking for new clients.

Your Virtual Assistant can create a marketing campaign that will keep you in front of and in touch with your past clients on a regular and consistent basis.  The purpose of the marketing campaign for past clients is for them to keep you in mind when they are ready to move up or move down and for them to refer their friends, family, and associates to you when they need a real estate professional.

Your marketing campaign can include:
* regularly scheduled 5-minute telephone calls
* thinking of you cards
* scheduled pop-bys
* organized events for your past clients
* anniversary gifts
* maintaining your home information - postcards or letters
* repeat buyer, first-time seller, or investment seminar or webinar invitations

Thanks, Crystal! I hope you can use some of them!

Hi Doug! The more, the merrier! Helps to keep me accountable to finish what I've started!

Awesome, Debbie! See? I sorta know what I'm talking about here! Thanks for the validation that it really does pay off!

You are quite welcome, Mike. I just hope I can keep it up.  I almost missed Day 3 and posted it in the middle of the night but I made it!

Renae - WOW!  Great information - I also just read the latest your last post.  I will be coming back to check on others.  My marketing is taking off in so many different directions now and I know I let some things fall by the wayside.

This is a wonderful series to follow.  There is so much info out there about having fantastic websites and such, but the basics of making personal contact with those from our sphere of influence is really the heart of this business still, I believe.

Keep up the good work!

Good advice. Sounds like you follow the Brian Buffini program as well.

That's awesome about your marketing, Barbara!  Maybe you need a VA! :-)

You're right, Amy. Your SOI are the folks who know you and trust you. They're the ones who are going to refer you to others more easily than anybody else.  Keeping up with them (and letting them keep up with you) is a key aspect to keeping your business moving forward.  It's not always about your website.  It's often about your people skills

I am very familiar with Brian Buffini's way of marketing, Mike.  I like to add my own little bit of character to it all though!
