11 Comments on Woodies on Lake Sinclair- 2nd annual Boat Show at Crooked Creek Marina
Hey Tammy - I love wood boats, they have such a classic feel and unique style that I enjoy. Have fun at the show!
All best,
Jason Frey
I do too, I can't wait for the show. And I never miss an excuse to eat at Bone Island Grill either.
Tammy--this would be the show to see. We love all types of boats and Crooked Creek Marina sounds like a place to check out. Have fun! And the Grill sounds good, too.
This looks like a fun event, Tammy. I love to watch this stuff. The Grill sounds wonderful.
Tammy -- Wow, that's an unusual event. We hardly see any woodies around here. They can sure be beautiful when they're all spruced up. Enjoy the event!
They are just beautiful boats Tammy, I would be looking forward to that!
Mary- the porch is my favorite place to eat. I just love the shrimp and grits and well, next to my Mama's it's the best cornbread ever.
Toni- I'm looking forward to it.
Barbara- they sure are beutiful.
Mary D- I think so too and I'm looking forward to a nice Saturday at the lake too.
Tammy - There is something about the look of the old wooden boats they are like a gorgeous woman dressed to the nines or a man all dressed up in a fancy black tux for a special event . We often go to the "antique" and not so antique boat shows in the Muskokas when ever we get the chance
You guys don't mess around. April hits the calendar and it's like summertime at Lake Sinclair. Oh, how I'd love to be in an old wooden boat zipping around the lake today!!
P.S. Have you considered monovision contact lenses?
Tammy... I remember seeing one of those *woodies* when I was younger. It would be good to see them again. Tammy, you might want to repost this blog again when it gets closer to the date to remind people of this event.
Barrie- they do look all dressed up don't they?
Elizabeth- I tried contacts... might give them another go, it's been years. And I love wooden boats too.
Valerie- Oh I will be posting about it again as it gets closer. This is just a "save the date". I hope to get lots of great photos too.
